SYNOPSIS:
In a dystopian alternate reality where vampires, hybrids, and humans coexist, the undead have used their technology to build a civilization in which most creatures are genetically enhanced. These nocturnal predators, along with their interdimensional associates from the high state of the holographic demiurge, exist in a perpetual artificial night within a sun-proof city—sealed inside a shielded hypercube, powered by the moon matrix, utilizing a constant artificial night and an impenetrable shifting architecture run by the Basilisk protocol.
Meanwhile, fearing that vampires are being woven into genetic levels, against human-trafficking blood dealers and all classifications of vampires, the Cardinal and clergymen gather a resistance unit based in the Basilican City, where cathedrals are surrounded by a holy water moat—a safety zone from the soulless, but only until the eclipse, when hyperdimensional beings can cross realm boundaries.
At the edge of human extinction, vampires prototype an embodied hemoglobin substitute—the first female hyper-human blood surrogate. But the Surrogate unites with the Resistance on her cybernetic steed to reconfigure the moon and reset the planet, double-crossing her makers beyond Hypercube’s defense mechanism, the Penumbra Trip Shield.
Yet everything comes crashing down when she covenants with the Underhype’s autonomous intelligence deployment android, ‘A.I.DA,’ for the basic instinct.
